Hours pass as I fill their mugs, listening to voices brim with wonder.
All around me, neighbors speak of freedoms they never dreamed of.
I smile, serve, and nod—though I wonder what was traded for their ease.
Life seldom gives without taking, yet few here seem to notice.
Men boast of strength, women of fortune, children of power in their palms.
Each claim sounds sweet, yet to my ear, hollow like an unfinished song.
Kindness may lie in these gifts, but justice? Balance? That is harder to see.
How quickly joy blinds the eye to what’s been lost elsewhere.
I sip the dregs of my own brew and wonder if truth is ever so simple.
These words are more than what meets the eye. Decipher them and you’ll have the key for even greater rewards. Hold tight to that key until the doors open.
Have you figured the crypt out yet? Hold onto it just a bit longer. We promise it’ll be worth it.
THE DOORS OF AEON WILL SOON OPEN
It brings us immense joy to finally share this: Whispers of Taiji: The Ascent of Aeon will launch on Kickstarter later this month!
After two years of building, refining, and dreaming, our team is ready to show the world what we’ve created. This project means the world to us, and we couldn’t be more excited to take this next step. We hope you’ll join us in celebrating the journey so far and what’s to come.
The campaign officially goes live on Tuesday, September 30th at 6AM PT/9AM ET.

THE WEBTOON IS BACK
After a short hiatus, the Whispers of Taiji webcomic returns, Chapter 14.1 is releasing at 4PM PT, get ready!
Whispers of Taiji isn’t just a webcomic, it’s the narrative heartbeat of the world of Astra. The comic and the tabletop game are intentionally woven together, with storylines and timelines that will eventually merge. If you’re curious about the lore, the vast world, and the backstories of our main cast, the webcomic is the best place to begin. From our perspective, it’s the front door into Astra.
And when you step into the TTRPG, you won’t just witness these stories, you’ll craft your own. The choices you make at the table will echo alongside the legends unfolding in the comic, expanding the living world of Whispers of Taiji.
