THE TEAM: Part 2

For the past two years, we’ve been working on Whispers of Taiji in quiet. We were laying the groundwork and building a winning team to bring the best IP to life that we possibly could.

We wanted to take a few emails to introduce you to all of the talented (and highly experienced) nerds that we’ve brought together.

EXPERIENCE YOU CAN TRUST

Which elemental domain calls to you — and why? 

Water, of course. I’m a smooth, dramatic, and dangerously clever operator. Smartest element of them all (hey, I don’t make the rules… oh wait, I do). The others try to keep up, but let’s be honest, they just end up wet.

What's your go-to party role in co-op games?

Cleric. The calm in the chaos, until I decide I’m the chaos.

What's your go-to party role in co-op games?

Fuck role in game. Visual > Role.
I pick the hottest character.

Which anime world would you never survive in, but would go anyway? 

Bleach, probably just gonna be a low rank Shinigami and killed in one of the war lol.

Which anime, game, or manga do you keep coming back to like it’s a comfort spell?

Final Fantasy / Bleach / Naruto. I’m a sucker for these. I also enjoy 20th and 21st Century Boys for its lore a lot.

Got any low-key OP skills or hobbies IRL?

I craft things for fun, invested in multiple machineries to make things that I want. I’ve made some collectibles, stickers and everything in between. I've also been a chef in the past so when I get a chance, I enjoy whipping up a few dishes.

Whispers of Taiji may have started as a quiet story unfolding on the page, but now it’s turning into something much bigger. A world shaped by players, choices, and community. You’re not just watching the story. You’re stepping into it.

🌀 Stretch Goals Incoming
We’re finalizing our stretch goal rewards right now, and spoiler: community builds are on the table. Think NPCs, spells, creatures, relics; all options for player co-creation. We’ll be inviting you to help shape content that’s not only in the game but may echo into the comic and campaign canon. You’ve been hoarding ideas. We’ve been watching 👀. Now it’s almost time.

🧍🏽‍♀️ More Than Just the Main Cast
What you’ve seen so far? Just the frontliners. But others are waiting in the wings; mysterious challengers with their own motives, secrets, and unfinished business. You’ll catch glimpses of them in upcoming webcomic drops, but if you want them in your party (or standing in your way), you’ll have to unlock them in the Kickstarter. Just don’t get too comfortable… these characters aren’t just for show. They’re coming for your leaderboard.
