The Tower of Aeon: Astra’s Most Misunderstood

The Tower of Aeon is an arcane landmark located within the city walls known for its power to bestow a multitude of power and fortune to those it chooses. This is why people come from all over the land in hopes of getting treasures and glory from the life- changing tower.

The tower is said to only open its doors once a year, on the night when the three blue stars align and shine brightest in the skies.

For centuries, this alignment has been a sign to scholars and adventurers, signaling that the Tower of Aeon is ready to accept new candidates. Fair warning, there is no set entrance to the tower, and it is believed that you simply have to be worthy, and the tower entrance will show itself to you.

In the early days, the festival was a solemn event, attended by the families of the souls who ventured into the tower and never returned. But over time, it grew into a citywide celebration, where people from all walks of life come together to rejoice in the hope, wonder, and excitement of what the tower might reveal.

At the end of the festival, the citizens of Astra release thousands of blue lanterns into the night sky. These lanterns are a symbol of unity, and a declaration to the world of their presence and support for the tower. The lanterns are also said to serve as a guiding light to those who enter the Tower of Aeon, offering them strength and courage for the journey ahead.
