THE WARRIOR

Where others chase raw power or arcane spectacle, the Warrior perfects the fundamentals. Every strike, every step, every shift of stance is deliberate—honed through discipline until it becomes second nature. The Warrior is the embodiment of battlefield adaptability, reading combat like a seasoned tactician and changing tactics on the fly to seize every opportunity.
Born from the chaos of the First Great War, Warriors were not forged in temples or barracks but on the blood-soaked fields of battle themselves. They were the veterans who survived when armies crumbled, carrying the lessons of war as they wandered from land to land.
Their lonely travels forced them to wrestle with the horrors they had seen and the burdens they carried. Those who could bear it turned their scars into strength, learning to temper emotion and summon calm amidst the storm. In battle, they became the rare few who could silence fear, still their anger, and act with perfect clarity—warriors who stood unyielding where others broke.
At 3rd level, you gain Adaptive Form, allowing you to choose from distinct combat stances after every rest. Need to hit harder on the charge? Vanguard Form gives you extra punch. Want to protect allies and punish attackers? Sentinel Form has you covered. Or maybe you prefer resilience, deflecting blows and arrows with ease—Deflective Form is your answer.
By 7th level, Executioner’s Rhythm rewards your precision, letting you chain takedowns into follow-up strikes with unstoppable momentum. At 10th level, Unyielding Form makes you harder to kill than ever; capable of standing when others would fall and pushing through exhaustion to keep fighting.
As you reach the heights of your training, Combat Efficiency at 15th level lets you impose crippling conditions on foes—bleeding, prone, hindered, or weakened—while still striking with deadly force. And at 18th level, Warlord’s Command cements your role as a leader, rallying allies to strike harder, endure longer, and push through the fiercest resistance.
Who is the Warrior for?
If you thrive on tactical decision-making, value flexibility, and want to be the anchor your party can rely on, the Warrior is your class. They excel in situations that demand quick adaptation: holding a chokepoint, breaking an enemy’s formation, or supporting allies with precision timing. The Warrior doesn’t just fight in the battle, they shape it.

LORE WHISPERS
Merrick, Exiled Overseer of the Underground
Merrick cuts a deceptive figure, tricking even the keenest adventurers. His slouched frame, swept-back hair, and neatly trimmed beard make him the perfect grandfatherly figure in Astra. Everyone knows of him, yet he’s rarely seen in the streets, perhaps due to age. Stories paint him as a gentle man, aiding Astra’s less fortunate. Dressed in flowing robes, and jeweled rings, and leaning on a cane, he looks every bit the retired noble.
Once a high-ranking noble of Ignara, Merrick had power, influence, and wealth, until it was torn away. Accused of conspiracy, he was exiled to Astra’s slums. But power is not so easily lost.
From the city’s underbelly, he built an empire in the shadows, ruling through fear and manipulation. Yet beneath his careful facade, resentment festers. The slums mirror the corrupt kingdom that discarded him, and one day, the nobles who cast him out will kneel.
