Continuing Our Climb đź’«

From our founder: Why Whispers of Taiji?

Early this week, Whispers of Taiji: The Ascent of Aeon went live on Kickstarter, and we can’t believe the support we’ve seen so far!

We couldn’t be more thankful for all of you who believe in us. 💫

But Whispers of Taiji has always been more than just a game; it’s a story about balance, connection, and the people who find meaning in creating.

Our founder, Hayley, poured that same spirit into a short brand film that captures what this world truly means to us. It’s an inside look at the heart behind Whispers of Taiji: the late nights, the imagination, and the drive to make something different.

“This is for the anime nerds, the dice goblins, the overthinkers, the fan writers, the lore devourers—this is for you.”

FOR THE NEXT 48 HOURS ONLY

We’re still riding the high going into week two and we want to do something special for all of our supporters over the next 48 hours! We’re going to be giving away one of our campaign books to someone who completes the following:

  2. Comment “Hail Mekhi” in the Kickstarter comment section

If you've already supported the Kickstarter, you can still enter as long as you comment before Thursday, October 9th, 2025 @ 11:59 PM PT! May the dice roll be in your favor!

A PROJECT WE LOVE

We wanted to share this campaign that has us excited, from our friends at 247 Comics.

EVERMIND is a wild, near-future action thriller about a scientist who invents the technology to transfer human consciousness into machines. His ambition puts him at odds with his idealistic daughter, but they end up joining forces and going head-to-head with ruthless paramilitary corporations… while trapped in the bodies of a theme park mecha gorilla and a pleasure bot.

Legendary artist, Sean Chen, teamed up with international superstar, Daniel Wu, to create a series that was urgent and timely, and also very personal. 247 Comics was born with the release of Evermind #1–3, and now they’re back with the conclusion of the series.

The campaign launched earlier this morning! In addition to the final three issues, they have catch-up tiers for anyone new to the series, lots of cool bundles, and gorgeous variant covers from legends like Alan Davis, Howard Chaykin, Riccardo Federici, Stephen Platt, and more - including a K-Pop Demon Hunters homage cover by Briane Andan!

Until next time, may Mekhi be with you.

P.S. If you solved the Truth Hidden In Verse, be sure to throw the answer in the Kickstarter comments for an extra reward ;)
